Three Palestinian women, including a 14-year-old girl, were wounded after Israeli occupation forces opened fire on their vehicle during a military raid in the town of Al-Karmel, east of Yatta and south of Hebron.
According to the official Palestinian news agency WAFA, Israeli forces stormed Al-Karmel late Wednesday, deployed throughout its streets and raided several Palestinian homes, turning some into military positions.
During the operation, Israeli troops opened live fire on a vehicle carrying several women.
Sanaa Abu Aram, 58, Duaa Al-Haroush, 30, and Lana Al-Haroush, 14, were wounded in the face and head.
Al-Karmel Mayor Qassem Abu Aram, whose wife Sanaa was among those wounded, said Sanaa and Lana suffered serious facial injuries after being struck by what he described as explosive bullets, while Duaa sustained shrapnel wounds to the face.
The Palestinian Red Crescent also reported treating casualties from Israeli gunfire during the raid in the Yatta area.
