Irish luxury Hotel Cancels Secretive Peter Thiel-backed Conference

A luxury hotel in Ireland has cancelled a private conference for Dialog, the invite-only network founded by billionaire Peter Thiel, after hackers leaked details of the group's members and agenda.

The Powerscourt Hotel in Co. Wicklow was due to host the August retreat, where attendees were reportedly set to discuss topics including a third world war, battlefield technology, nuclear energy and cult-building. Guests were expected to include a NATO commander and senior Trump administration officials.

Thiel is the co-founder of Palantir, the surveillance technology company that has supplied Israel's military throughout its genocide in Gaza and works with US immigration agencies accused of serious human rights abuses.

The leaked membership list included US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, Senator Ted Cruz, Israeli finance ministry economist Shmuel Abramzon, actor Josh Brolin, author Sam Harris and tech entrepreneur Bryan Johnson.

Powerscourt Estate, which owns the land on which the hotel sits, said it was ‘relieved and pleased’ with the hotel’s decision to cancel the event.
