According to GreekReporter, Greece is expected to approve a €3 billion deal to purchase advanced Israeli air and missile defence systems as part of its new ‘Achilles' Shield’ programme.
The package would integrate Israeli-made missile interceptors, radars and command systems into Greece's wider military network, while also including additional Israeli drones and other defence equipment.
This decision will deepen military ties with Israel at a time when Israel's ongoing genocide in Gaza has resulted in at least 70,000 civilian deaths, mass displacement and extensive destruction.
