Why Palestine Matters for Regional Peace

EuroPal Forum hosted a cross-party reception and seminar titled ‘Palestine: Key for Stability and Peace in the Middle East’ at the UK Parliament, chaired by Dr Paul Monaghan MP (SNP). The event brought together MPs from the UK, Middle East, and Malaysia, along with Palestinian voices, to discuss the centrality of the Palestinian issue to regional and global peace.

Speakers included EuroPal Forum Chairman Zaher Birawi, Grahame Morris MP, Haneen Al Zoabi MK, Baroness Jenny Tonge, and Mohd Rafizi Ramli MP of Malaysia. Discussions emphasised the global dimensions of the Palestinian struggle, criticised Israeli apartheid and occupation, and underscored the importance of justice, democratic principles, and international solidarity.
