Lobbying and Advocacy Training

Empowering voices to influence change effectively.

EuroPal Forum successfully delivered its 8th training course in Lobbying and Advocacy on Sunday 8th January 2017 at the Centre Tawhid in Lyon, France. The event brought together a diverse group of Palestine activists, as well as members of Arab and Muslim communities from Lyon and neighbouring cities.

The training was led by Zaher Birawi, Jerome Faynel, Aurore Faivre, and Alice Garcia, and was structured around three core areas designed to strengthen participants’ capacity to lobby and advocate effectively for the Palestinian cause in France. It focused on developing concrete activism skills and expanding participants’ political literacy and strategy.

Attendees gained in-depth insights into the French political system, including governance structures, political parties’ positions on Palestine, and the broader socio-political landscape. The training also included comprehensive mapping and analysis of French-based pro-Palestinian NGOs and their roles in shaping public opinion and policy.
